Mahogany Veneer and Gilded Gesso Looking Glass or Mirror

A beautiful Mahogany Veneer & Gilded Gesso Looking Glass (Mirror).  This is an outstanding piece and one of the finest mirrors we have owned.  English Circa 1800 The finish and gilding are both in excellent condition as are the scrolled pediments.  The urn is an accurate replacement and the attached flowers are period.  The conch shell inlay in an oval patera in the crest is very nice as is the string inlay.  There is some minor gesso loss on the right side of the frame under the flowers.  Otherwise, the flowers are original. Beautiful!
